Maurizio Borghi - Expert
Maurizio Borghi is Professor of Law at Bournemouth University (UK), where he is the Director of the Centre for Intellectual Property Policy and Management.
He is an internationally renowned specialist of copyright law, with expertise in UK, EU and international copyright in the digital environment. He has published extensively in this area of law, as well as in e-commerce, privacy and data protection.
In the last years, he has carried out research and consultancy projects for major governmental organizations and industries, focusing on creative industries, legal and regulatory issues of search engines, digitization of cultural heritage, and liability of intermediaries.
In 2014 he received the Google Faculty Research Award for his research on copyright and mass digitization.
